Top full-size puzzles this week:
Fur Babies by JeffsPuzzles - A very cool schrodinger grid - no wrong answer as far as I'm concerned!
Best of the Year (themeless) by acommonrose - Does it live up to the title? You decide!
Top midis this week:
All Together Now by Brandon Cathcart - In the comments ilo says "I hated this puzzle and then I understood the theme and I loved it" - that's my favorite type of theme.
Twice Weekly 9x9 - #365 by Wally - If you're new here you could solve a Wally midi every day for an entire year (sounds like a great year to me).
Top minis this week:
The Quotes and Orgs. Mini by Arel - 1A is a personal favorite of mine (and will now be stuck in my head for the rest of the day).
Super Solves #48 by Neil McManus - Another great mini from Neil.
Top metas this week:
Shooting Stars by ajk - I always enjoy ajk's metas - the nudges on the puzzle page are a big help.
Overt Operations by Pair O Ducks - The cover image and intro text cracked me up.
Top cryptics this week:
Strangely Definitive and Very Short by Melanie Branton - If you're new to cryptics and looking to get a foothold then start here and continue by solving Melanie's entire backlog.
Cryptic Mystic Blitz 6 by Martin - I love the concept of this puzzle - cryptic by committee!
Voting should open for this month's midi contest soon - there are tons of great entries! Join us on Discord for the details on how to get your vote counted.
Some new features are rolling out this morning:
  • Puzzles can now make use of both circles and cell shading at once.
  • There is an experimental new "throwback mini" on the homepage beneath the regular daily mini - it's Crosshare's daily mini from 5 years ago (!) for those of you who weren't around then.
  • There is a link on the bottom of the homepage to view the previous week's weekly email and page through past emails. @Koki on Discord is helping to get even more of the email archives up on the site soon. This should be another great way to find some gems from the past if you're looking for even more puzzles to solve.
As always, let me know if you have any questions or issues. Until next week, happy solving! - Mike
