Once a week (usually on Thursdays) Crosshare sends an email with some links to the most popular puzzles in the previous seven days. We have occasionally gotten some questions about the email, so here are some answers:
How are puzzles selected?
Each week the selected puzzles are the ones whose grids were completed the most number of times in the seven days prior to the email. In order to make sure there is something for every solver, the emails are also broken down by grid size (with additional categories for
#meta and
#cryptic puzzles).
There are tons of excellent puzzles published to Crosshare each and every day! We wish we could include every single one in the email but the system above is the simplest and fairest we could come up with. Be sure to check the homepage often to discover more great puzzles.
