Wow, I love this puzzle! maybe 5-down could be something like "short message?" and somehow relate it to 7-across? that might increase the number of themed clues (although it might be too complicated and there are already a lot of themed clues)
For whatever it is worth, feeding the title and clues into 7-across, it gets 7 out of the 10 clues correct, and that’s without any knowledge of the grid. At least that means, for the moment, we’re 30% better. Yeah for humanity!
